How we maximize our fixed supply.

James Bonds

James Bonds, codenamed 007.finance, is a synergistic protocol built as a fundraising layer for JPEG Morgan and other fixed-supply tokens seeking to grow their treasuries.

The Problem

Nearly every token performs buybacks, most of which are burnt. This is capitally inefficient; buybacks are a necessity to ensure holder satisfaction, but result in a lot of the treasury being locked up: would you be happy if dev started dumping buybacks? We want to do buybacks, but we also want to have a large treasury. Buybacks lock up ever-increasing portions of the treasury, slowing the growth rate of our liquid assets that can be used to provide dividends.

TLDR: holder want buyback -> dev buyback -> treasury go down -> dividend go down -> holder sad -> dev sad :(

The Solution

James Bonds presents a novel way for fixed supply tokens to 'recycle' their tokens through buybacks. JPG tokens that are bought back will be deposited within the 007 vault, where they'll be sold for both instant and vested bonds.

Bonds are sold through the platform at a discount compared to market price, with the discount on vested bonds being greater than that of instant bonds. Instead of buying bonds with ETH like you would on Uniswap, you can exchange various yield-bearing assets, as well as LP Tokens, for $JPG Bonds.

This enables the treasury to recoup any expenditure on buybacks, while acquiring the assets we desire to produce the greatest returns and thus, return the greatest dividends.

TLDR: holder want buyback -> dev buyback -> treasury go down -> tokens swapped as bonds -> treasury go up -> dividends go up -> holder happy -> wagmi :)

How does it work?

We provide two types of bonds for sale, each at a different discount compared to market price. Explore both types of bonds on the page below:

Fundraising as a Service

We recognize that this bonding platform is one that serves great benefit not only for our token, but for other fixed-supply tokens looking to build their treasuries. To read about how we'll use James Bonds to help benefit the greater DeFi space, check out the page below:
